Here is the completed WM-2 wattmeter. It took just a few hours to build over two days of my vacation. Things I like about it: High quality kit Easy to build Rugged Easy calibration Has internal 9V battery for field measurements Lowest scale is 100mW for those QRPP measurements Accurate Reasonable cost Things I don’t like about it: Well…..I can’t think of any at the moment.

Oak Hills Research WM-2 QRP Wattmeter – Part 3

Putting on the front and rear decals is a tricky task. I’m not sure decal is the right word, they are more like heavy sheets of plastic. Anyway, the most important thing is to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. The aluminum parts must be thoroughly cleaned before attempting to stick on the decals.  Also, be VERY careful – once you commit, they are difficult to re position.  I make this sound hard, but really I had no problems doing it. Again, follow all directions and you be ok.
