This is my uBitx ready for wiring. Due to the nature of how the case halves fit together, I decided to keep all components on the top half for easy wiring. This presented some challenges for placement of the headphone, keyer paddle and microphone jacks, but I think it will work. The speaker is from an old TV set. Although not yet added, I plan to have my call sign on the speaker grill in white paint. The last picture is the machining of the custom interior heat sink. I had to make it a specific thickness to match the gap between the final transistors and the case. There is heat sink compound on both sides of the case. I think this should keep the finals very cool.
