This was my novice receiver in 1971-72. It was quite a challenge to make contacts with this receiver, but I think it was a good learning experience.

The GR-64 is just like the Knight Star Roamer I put together in ’67. I used it as my novice RX in ’68. Real tough, very broad IF and used regen as BFO in the IF tube. But I worked the world because it was sunspot peak.
